Mr. S.A.M. Hossain

Mr. S.A.M. Hossain is a distinguished and visionary entrepreneur with over four decades of excellence in the business landscape of Bangladesh. A graduate in Commerce, he hails from a respected and illustrious Muslim family of Noapara, Raozan Thana, in the Chattogram district.
Beginning his career in the electronics industry nearly 45 years ago, Mr. Hossain quickly rose to prominence through his integrity, innovation, and unwavering dedication. Under his leadership, Victor Group, along with Victor Electronics and Victor International, has become a household name nationwide, known for quality and trust in both household and commercial refrigeration solutions.
Current Leadership Roles
Beyond business, Mr. Hossain is deeply committed to social development. A dedicated philanthropist, he established the Aslam Smriti Foundation in Noapara, which runs multiple etimkhanas (orphanages), producing numerous Hafiz-e-Quran annually and supporting underprivileged communities.
In education, he has made lasting contributions and holds leadership roles in various institutions. He is a founding member of Noapara Muslim High School and remains actively engaged in initiatives to uplift his native village.
A patron of culture and community, Mr. Hossain is a life member of Army Golf Club Dhaka and Chattogram Club. His strategic insight and leadership also extend to the financial sector, where he continues to support the vision of Standard Bank Ltd., helping it deliver best-in-class banking services.
